Pediatrics Group: Caution in Off-Label Use of OTCs for Kids

The American Academy of Pediatrics urges doctors to exercise caution in recommending over-the-counter medicines that are not specifically made for use in children. in a policy statement, the academy noted that less then 50% of products have pediatric information listed on their labels.
